No pants party

Here at the Veltman household we like to dine in our skivvies. Mom and dad say it makes it easier to hose me off after dinner. I don't mind, except for all the wedgies... I'm looking at you dad!

Hmm...bright blue shirt, black pants...just so you know, I got dressed first.

Fists of fury

I started doing some funky fist flailing a few days ago, just for kicks (hits?). Now I've even got Dad copying my kung fu style!

Sweet ride

In the hiking backpack, I discovered I can use Dad's hair as reins.

Toys R Us, ho!

Scooper fun

Want to know what I think of Mom using my sand toys for non-sand purposes? Here's the scoop!

Car seat photo shoot

Oh great, Mom. More pictures.

Will this do?

No? Tough crowd.

Okay, fine. How about a glamour shot?

Mo-oooom! (A face I plan to reuse during the teenage years.)

Okay, I'm coming atcha with everything I've got:

Satisfied? I thought so.

Click clack

I learn how to make new sounds all the time!

Then I keep making them...all the time.

Had a fun visit to Gilroy Gardens with Mom and Dad today. It was a hot one, but we all stayed hydrated, and enjoyed roaming the shady grounds and riding a few mellow rides.

A question from Grandpa

Grandpa V: Hey Linc, who shares a quarter of your genes and is celebrating a birthday today?

Linc: This guy!

A.M. explorations

Who doesn't love an early morning stroll along the tranquil Pacific coast, the misty breeze ruffling your hair, the only sounds the steady crashing of waves against the shore and your soft footfalls on the sand-covered earth?

Stripey strides

On a walk at Point Lobos, my abundance of stripes elicited an abundance of smiles from fellow walkers.

Getting to know potential future girlfriend Katie...well, her feet at least!

VC party

Had a transatlantic video chat with Uncle Nono and "Aunt" Nicky this weekend.

At first I wasn't too sure about it.

But then I started to warm up.

Then I really warmed up!

Mom came by, and gave me a snack: her hair!

Then things got weird.

A good time was had by all.

Emma hugs

Happy birthday to my nanny, Emma!

We have such an awesome time playing together when Mom and Dad are at work. I'm always happy to see her in the morning.

The fuzz!

I look pleased here because I'm thinking about all the fuzzballs I'm going to try to eat from the rug.

Wait, I can't eat them? But...the fuzzballs...

Walks with Pops

This weekend we went for a short hike at Windy Hill. It was a hot one, but I kept shady on Dad's back.

We also got out of the house early one day and did a walk up to the Stanford Dish. It was a chilly one, but I kept cozy under Gege's blanket.

Ten months old...think it's time for a haircut, or should I keep rockin' this fuzzy mullet until a year?

Like mother like son

Mom and I are like two peas in a pod. It's not playing with your food when you're trying to create the perfect bite! Dad will cram anything in to his piehole, but Mom and I are more selective.

Cousin chat

On the fourth of July, I messily sampled a few olallieberries, then invited my cousin Zoe for a chat about our independence day dinner.

As you can see, we had a good discussion.

Mom and Dad think I might've learned the sign for "all done." It's a little hard to tell, because I only use it during mealtime. And sometimes before the meal has even started!

Grocery fun

Going to the grocery store with Mom is about as fun as having my temperature taken. Rectally.

Just kidding! Neither of those things is all that bad.
