Mom and Dad took me to a new park today, over by Coyote Point. It was like three parks in one!
Airplane viewing ground.
Scenic strolling area.
Yeah, I think we'll be coming back.
At the library, Mom snagged some of Yaya's recommendations, and I eyed a boy who was checking out a train book I coveted.
My nerves were soothed by a trip to a new-ish park, where I scrambled around too quickly for Mom to get any satisfactory pictures.
By the time lunch came around, I was wiped. I nearly fell asleep at the table.
My final day in LA was full of delights, including a park with a wacky slide...
...and a fountain that was perfect for splashing in.
After getting our fill of wet wind sprints at the park, we headed for the pier, where I sampled a couple of sweet rides with some unusual passengers.
And a new carousel! Can you tell I liked my ride on the bunny?
Later on, I collected flowers with Aunt Randi from her spectacular garden.
We ended the day dining with Dad's old friend Logan and his family. I loved their play-do-spewing garbage truck (and the Elliott clan was pretty cool too).
It was a great way to close out our memorable trip to sunny Los Angeles.
Even if Dad never managed to capture the perfect #carouselfie.
Today we trekked to Travel Town, where I shockingly grumped my way around, disinterested in any trains. When we headed for a nearby park area, I was able to muster up a bit more enthusiasm for this firefighting crane truck.
Plus, the carousel ride was rather boss.
In the heat of the afternoon, we took an opportunity to cool down in Gege's pool.
Initially a pleasant dip, it became EXTRA fun with the addition of pool toys!
On the trip down to L.A., I was the very model of a Southwest advertisement.
When we arrived, I settled right in at Randi & Ilan's playing with some vintage toys.
Later on, I helped Gege pick some fresh tomatoes from her garden.
I also met one odd gentleman in her backyard. (Gege, Mom and I think you should ask this guy to loiter around someone else's patio. He seems sketchy.)
I ended the day in another backyard, playing trains with my totally excellent Aunt Sara!
